Introduction:
DY-1401 is a mixed product of Polydimethylsiloxane Gum dispersed in volatile cyclopentasiloxane and PDMS, with colorlessness, odorlessness and non-toxicity. The products has a high affinity with the skin and hair and can form a soft protective film. For it has containing volatility, the product can be added into the formulations and provide velvety and silky feel. The products is ideal material for the hair care products.
APPLICATIONS
Substantive character and unique feel make DY-1401.Fluid well suited for skin creams and lotions,
cosmetics, sun screen and tanning products. It can be readily emulsified or combined with volatile silicone, mineral oil and cosmetic esters to provide a delivery vehicle for active ingredients such as sun screens.
Provides a soft silky feel and conditioning from hair care products. It is particularly useful against split ends.

HOW TO USE
DY-1401 Fluid improves the substantivity of other actives, under both water soaking and soap washing regimes. It is therefore possible to incorporate DY-1401 Fluid into skin care products to provide a water repellent, durable film. These actives may include sun screens, emollients and moisturizers.DY-1401 Fluid can also be used to prepare water resistant or waterproof sunscreen lotions with exceptional spreading characteristics.
